Bernadette (born Bernadette lazzara(born February 28, 1948) Peters is a popular American musician, singer and the author of books for children of Ozone Park Queens New York. Bernadette Peters has over the last five decades appeared in TV and film productions, and solo concerts. She has been nominated for seven Tony Awards and won two in addition to 8 Drama Desk Awards. Four of the Broadway album of cast on which she's starred were awarded Grammy Awards. Peters started her career on stage as a youngster, later at the age of a teenager in 1960s.
